As missile attacks continue across central Israel, CityServe Israel has mobilized an emergency relief team to assist vulnerable families facing ongoing disruption and displacement due to attacks from Iran and its terrorist proxies. Their relief team is actively working on the ground to deliver immediate assistance to those most affected.
“Residents in cities like Ramat Gan are being forced to seek shelter multiple times a day as sirens sound and explosions echo nearby,” said Wendell Vinson, co-founder of CityServe. “The threat has placed a significant burden on elderly individuals, low-income families, and children experiencing the psychological toll of repeated trauma. In tense moments like this, meeting basic needs and providing some sense of stability can make a profound difference.”
Through this emergency relief initiative, CityServe has mobilized several critical services, such as:
- Distribution of Shabbat food packages, including fresh fruits, vegetables, and challah
- Relocation assistance for elderly individuals and those with special needs to safe temporary housing
- Therapeutic support for children through toys and play-based care designed to help process trauma
These services aim to restore a sense of dignity, stability, and hope amid Iranian attacks. CityServe continues to coordinate with local partners to ensure aid reaches those most vulnerable as conditions evolve.
“After three weeks of relentless attacks from Iran and Lebanon, daily life for many Israelis means hours in shelters, repeated trauma, confusion, and uncertainty,” added Uri Steinberg, Director of CityServe Israel. “The people are strong. But the most vulnerable — our children and elderly — cannot carry this burden alone. Our mission at CityServe Israel is to stand with them in these moments, providing both immediate relief and a sense that they are not facing this alone.”
