Here's one way Pastor Kenny explains the issue in one of The Corona Chronicles videos: “It’s sort of like our lives were a set of bowling pins. It’s all neatly arranged and then the unplanned and unwelcome bowling ball of COVID-19 came through and just kind of messed everything up – and the only problem is the reset button isn’t working and we’re trying to figure this out.
It’s sort of like God has pressed the pause button on our lives and when things like this happen that you can’t control, a virus you can’t control, and consequences you can’t control, you can look at it with two different sets of glasses.
You can look at it from a natural and practical perspective which is, ‘I’m not at work. I’m upset. I worry about groceries. When are we going to get testing?’ All that. Or, you can put on a supernatural and personal set of glasses and ask yourself, ‘What is God up to?’”
