Come back Wednesday, Feb. 25, to be among the first to watch!
As if a 12th studio album and upcoming arena tour weren’t enough, MercyMe has been hard at work on another notable project — a sequel to 2018’s beloved biopic “I Can Only Imagine.” In addition to developing the story, which centers on MercyMe’s chart-topping hit “Even If,” the K-LOVE Fan Award-winning ensemble contributed a new song to the soundtrack.
“Make It Well” was written by MercyMe frontman Bart Millard and Tim Timmons — the same duo that brought you “Even If” — along with songwriter Ethan Hulse. Its heartfelt chorus features a modern interpretation of Horatio Spafford’s “It Is Well With My Soul,” the lyrics of which have been sung for over a century:
It is well with my soul
It is well with my soul
Whatever my lot, You are still my God
It is well, it is well with my soul
You can catch the official music video premiere for “Make It Well” right here on K-LOVE.com! Tune in on Wednesday, Feb. 25, at 10 a.m. CT to be among the first to watch.
Can’t get enough of MercyMe? “I Can Only Imagine 2” is now showing in theaters nationwide, and the “Wonder & Awe” tour goes coast to coast beginning March 12.
