CeCe Winans testifies to the unchanging character of Christ on her latest single, “That’s My King.” Against a backdrop of dance-worthy beats, the Gospel music trailblazer reviews our Heavenly Father’s consistent attributes, giving Him complete credit for every blessing that comes from above and assessing the full spectrum of His undeniable power at work in our daily lives.

With lyrics that attempt to capture the wonder and majesty of Jesus, “That’s My King” features Winans admitting, “There aren’t enough colors to paint the whole picture. Not enough words to ever say what I’ve found. Wonderful and beautiful and glorious and holy. He is merciful and powerful. Who we talkin’ about? That’s my King.”

In contrast to her previous hit, “Believe For It” — an empowering ballad of walking by faith, not by sight — “That’s My King” resounds with a tribal melody primed for praise and adoration. The decorated songstress is sharing the celebratory track on her current 24-city headlining trek, “The Goodness Tour,” this spring.

“This is a song that talks about how great our King Jesus is. You cannot be still and listen to ‘That’s My King.’ We’re going to have church on this one!” Winans declares, adding, “This new music is a continuation of the Holy Spirit saturating songs in such a way that when people hear them, great things are happening.”

Ahead of unveiling “That’s My King,” Winans put her signature stamp on Chris Tomlin’s acclaimed anthem, “Holy Forever.” Additionally, the legendary artist lent her voice to for KING & COUNTRY’s most recent No. 1, “What Are We Waiting For?” Next, she’s set to drop a cover of Stephen McWhirter’s emotive original, “Come Jesus Come.” Her latest offerings preview her next highly anticipated studio set, “More Than This,” due later this year.
