CAIN quenches their spiritual thirst on “Living Water.” Chosen as a K-LOVE First, the trio’s dynamic new single speaks to looking for fulfillment in the things of this world but consistently coming up empty. From success and notoriety to wealth and comfort, the collective admits to putting their hope in temporary things that will never fully satisfy. On “Living Water,” they discover the only thing that will truly fill our cup — a relationship with Jesus.

“The heart of this song is that Jesus is the prize, not Jesus giving you the prize. He is it,” the group’s Madison Cain Johnson affirms. “He’s the prayer you’re praying, the answer you need, the living water. Things, even good things, will leave you over and over again. We’ve learned that the hard way, and we’re committing to not make that mistake again this time.”
Punctuated by cracking drums and crunchy guitars, the anthemic “Living Water” was written by Madison and her siblings, Taylor and Logan, alongside award-winning songwriter Ethan Hulse following an intentional hiatus for the family band. Logan and Taylor share lead on the song about discovering reservoirs in life’s driest places.

The recent season off the road revived the three singers’ spirits and their creativity, giving them a fresh perspective from which to draw as they introduce their next musical chapter. CAIN debuted “Living Water” in May when they appeared on the Grand Ole Opry. They also performed the original during their headlining set of the Kickoff Concert at the 2026 K-LOVE Fan Awards Weekend.
Refueled after some time at home, CAIN returns to the road this fall for their “Live and In Worship Tour,” which will find them hosting “CAIN Church” alongside a different worship leader each weekend of the coast-to-coast, 25-city trek.
