K-LOVE is kicking off 2023 by bringing you brand new music. We’re not even a full month into the new year yet, and K-LOVE listeners have already been the first to hear fresh singles from Jon Reddick, Phil Wickham and We Are Messengers thanks to the new K-LOVE First series.

K-LOVE First began in 2022 with five song debuts. K-LOVE listeners were the first to hear “The Healing” from Blanca, “The Goodness (feat. Blessing Offor)” from TobyMac, “Heart of God” from Zach Williams, “Love Me Like I Am (feat. Jordin Sparks)” from for KING & COUNTRY and “Thanks Giver” from Crowder.

Every song chosen as a K-LOVE First premieres exclusively on K-LOVE stations across the country giving fans the first listen. During a K-LOVE First event, K-LOVE First songs can be heard at the top of every hour, all day beginning at 6 a.m. ET on the Skip & Amy show.

In case you missed them, here’s a roundup of the first three K-LOVE Firsts of 2023.

Jon Reddick, “I Believe It (The Life of Jesus)”

K-LOVE First Premiere: Jan. 9, 2023

Jon Reddick proclaims his unwavering faith in Christ with his new song, “I Believe It (The Life of Jesus).” The congregational-friendly single was inspired by a trip Reddick took to the Holy Land. When he saw for himself the very places Jesus lived out his 33 years on Earth, the Bible stories Reddick has read across his entire existence came to life in a fresh way. As he stood on a balcony at sunset overlooking the Sea of Galilee, his faith became sight.

He took the initial idea into a writing session with fellow songwriters Daniel Carson, David Leonard, Jonathan Smith and Jess Cates, and it evolved into this epic track that celebrates the death, life and resurrection of Jesus. Reddick has already been leading the song at Church of the City in Franklin, Tenn., where he remains a worship leader.

“This Is Our God” is an invitation to recall God’s faithfulness in the past so that we can trust His faithfulness in the future. “I love singing this song. When I sing it, it’s like I’m preaching to my own soul to remember and respond to all that Jesus has done for us,” Wickham shares. “What an incredible story we have to tell of how God’s love, grace and faithfulness intersect with our lives in such huge and profound ways.”

As the LP’s third single bows at radio at the beginning of a new year, Mulligan offers this encouragement to listeners: “When I read the Scriptures, I’m inspired to love God — not just with my mind or with the things I do, but to love Him with all of my heart, all of my soul and all of my strength. And in 2023, I want to be about that. I want to love God and love His people — not in part of my heart, but with all of my heart. I want to be wholehearted, and I hope you do, too.”
