Jim Davis speaks with Ellen Thornhill, Senior Director of Development and Marketing for Circle Center Adult Day Services in Richmond. Circle Center is a nonprofit alternative to long term senior care, assisted living, or private in-home care. Thornhill says their model is a much more affordable choice and a growing trend for senior adult care. Circle Center offers activities, group interaction and physical therapy for the participants. The Center also works to meet the needs of the caregivers who many times have to balance work and other family member responsibilities with the care of their parents and senior adult family members.
