Granger Smith is a former country music star, songwriter, radio host, and Christian minister from Texas. He is best known for his 2016 No. 1 country hit "Backroad Song."
In recent years, he transitioned away from full-time music to focus on Christian ministry, speaking, writing, and discipleship work. He is the author of the bestselling memoir Like a River: Finding the Faith and Strength to Move Forward after Loss and Heartache, which reflects on grief, faith, and the loss of his son, River, in 2019.
