Eastern European Mission (EEM) is launching its 2025 Bibles for Kids campaign with a goal of distributing more than 600,000 illustrated children’s Bibles in over 21 languages to children across Eastern Europe and beyond.
For children like Nastya, a young orphan whose parents were lost to war, these Bibles bring more than stories—they offer hope and healing. When she received her first Bible in 2024, she clung to it every night, finding comfort in its pages. Soon, her teacher noticed a transformation: light returning to her eyes and peace settling in her heart. Months later, she was adopted, carrying her treasured Bible with her. "Now I know that God is my dad," she said.
EEM has been distributing free Bibles for over six decades, partnering with churches, schools, orphanages and refugee ministries. Since 2021, the annual Bibles for Kids campaign has provided over 2.1 million Bibles to children and teens.
“This is more than a book; it’s a life-changing message,” said EEM Vice President Dirk Smith. “Together, we can ensure these kids have access to the Bible in their heart language—an invitation to eternity with Jesus!”
