"This is a picture of me and my dad two weeks ago today when I had the privilege of baptizing him. I lost him yesterday unexpectedly. Although I may be sad, I get to rejoice because I know that it’s not good bye. It’s simply a see you later. That’s the beauty of the Gospel! I don’t wonder if he loved Jesus, i KNOW he did and he knew Jesus loved him. It sure puts a man’s heart at peace."
This brings to mind the words of Jesus:
Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6 NLT)
Everyone will spend forever somewhere. The best place is with Jesus.
