Pastor Corey Brooks continues his creative campaign in Chicago, sleeping each night in a tent atop storage containers to raise awareness of desperate community needs, raising funds for a community center, and praying and working to end the violence that’s so rampant.
In this Facebook video, Brooks is visited by a man who rode his bicycle all the way from San Diego to join him on the rooftop. Daniel Powell says, “God spoke to me and said, ‘help this guy any way and every way you can’ and I didn’t question it.” Powell is an Ironman competitor, a cancer survivor, and enjoys helping projects that help others, such as Project Hood founded by Pastor Brooks.
