The days of Ukraine's trouble just will not stop. Mission Eurasia is boots-on-the-ground in Kherson, which was hit with flood waters from the collapse of the Kakhovka Dam, possibly destroyed by Russian forces.
A wall of water was sent into nearby towns and along a 55-mile stretch of the Dnipro River down to the Black Sea.
The hydroelectric dam holds roughly 4.3 cubic miles of water. To provide some perspective, that is about the Great Salt Lake in volume.
Mission Eurasia, which has been on the frontlines with humanitarian aid, trauma counseling, emergency shelter and Gospel ministry throughout the war, has teams on the ground to help those who have suffered loss of home, loved ones, and hope.
To assist Ukrainian families who are still living in Ukraine, Mission Eurasia is providing emergency family food packages that contain enough food to sustain a family of four-five for a week as well as a copy of Scripture to provide spiritual comfort and hope for these suffering families. We are also providing medical care for refugee families and trauma counseling for those severely affected by the war.

Prayer Requests
- Please pray for an end to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine so that this hurting nation can start to rebuild and pursue reconciliation with Russia.
- Please pray for Russian and Ukrainian churches, which have been divided by the ongoing conflict in eastern Ukraine, to pursue reconciliation together so they can care for those in need and serve as examples for their nations’ leaders.
- Please pray that our SWW students and graduates would continue actively sharing the hope of Christ with those in need so that God’s Kingdom may grow, even in the midst of turmoil.
- Please pray for unity within the Ukrainian church so that Christians can bring peace and reconciliation to as many of their hurting neighbors as possible.
