Faith Jones has the talent.
She can sing.
She has auditioned for shows like American Idol, The Voice and America's Got Talent.
Her reaction videos have helped other artists gain attention online.
But behind the growing platform and viral moments, Faith says there was a season when she quietly sat in her basement crying out to God, wondering why her own dreams seemed stuck.
When Faith sat down with me here at K-LOVE News, she shared how that painful season ultimately became the beginning of a completely different purpose.
“I remember praying one day, just weeping with tears, wondering why my gift was put on the back burner,” Faith said.
Then came the answer she says changed her life forever.
“Clear as day, He's [God's] just like, ‘It's either you're glorifying the gift or you glorify me. You have to choose,’” Faith recalled.
At first, she struggled to understand it.

She knew she could sing. She knew God had given her a gift. But over time, she began realizing that what was drawing people in was not performance alone. It was authenticity. It was joy. It was the unmistakable emotion people feel when music touches something deeper in the soul.
And that is exactly what audiences have connected with.
If you have ever watched one of Faith’s videos, you know the reactions are real. Sometimes she laughs. Sometimes she pauses in complete shock. Sometimes worship moves her to tears. Even people unfamiliar with gospel music often find themselves unexpectedly pulled into the moment right alongside her.
Whether she is reacting to CeCe Winans singing “Believe For It” or hearing a powerful live worship moment for the first time, Faith says there is a difference between hearing talent and hearing something spiritually genuine.
“When you can speak to the soul of a person, you don't focus on the riffs and the runs,” Faith said. “You're mainly focused on the gift that God has set inside of them to get to you.”
That honesty has helped Faith build an audience that stretches far beyond one genre or church background. Some viewers grew up listening primarily to Contemporary Christian music, while others are being introduced to gospel worship for the very first time through her platform.
And for Faith, that matters deeply.
“Every single time I press record, I just be like, ‘Lord, somebody has to hear a different type of musicality within their ears,’” she said.
Her growing platform has caught the attention of well-known artists and entertainers, including Dorinda Clark-Cole and Tina Knowles.
But Faith says the journey was built long before any recognition arrived.
Some of her earliest videos were recorded while she was struggling financially and borrowing a neighbor’s Wi-Fi connection just to upload content online.
“I couldn't even afford to keep my phone on. I was using my neighbor's Wi-Fi,” Faith said.
She remembers walking to her neighbor’s home as a teenager and asking if she could use his internet after school because she believed God was going to do something with her life.
“I said, ‘I promise you, I am going to be big one day … and I really love music a lot,’” she said.
Faith also spoke openly about battling insecurity, bullying and depression while growing up.
“I really had to talk to God and try to help myself understand how He sees me and not how I see myself,” she said.
Today, she says that perspective continues to shape both her faith and her platform.
And even if the social media following disappeared tomorrow, Faith says she already knows what matters most.
“I would be satisfied because I wouldn't lose Jesus,” she said. “As long as God's hand is on me, we could start this thing over again from scratch.”
For Faith Jones, the mission has never simply been about reacting to songs.
It has been about creating space for people to feel something real.
And sometimes, that one moment of honesty, worship or curiosity can open the door to something much deeper..
