Tipp City, OH - New Path, Inc.’s CAR Program just hit the gas on life change—completing another record-breaking year of putting people in the driver’s seat, literally. In 2025, 78 qualified individuals applied to receive a donated vehicle through the program. Thanks to generous community support, dozens of families gained reliable transportation—and with it, access to work, school, and stability.
But as the need grows, the wheels risk slowing down.
“We’ve seen firsthand how a donated car can completely alter the trajectory of a person’s life,” said Sherry Loschi Director of Compassion Ministries “But right now, we simply don’t have enough vehicles to start our program for 2025.”
The CAR Program doesn’t just give away cars—it equips recipients with financial literacy and basic car care knowledge, creating a long-term solution rather than a short-term fix. Participants volunteer with New Path and complete training courses before receiving their keys.
Here’s where the community comes in: If you have a gently used vehicle—even if it needs minor repairs—you can make a direct impact. New Path has volunteer mechanics who will fix needed repairs and get your old car back on the road with a brand new driver! New Path accepts car donations year-round, and each donation is tax-deductible.
How to Help:
- Donate a car: Visit www.newpathserves.org or call 937-669-1213.
- Sponsor repairs or parts: Financial contributions are also welcome.
- Spread the word: The more people who know, the more lives we can change.
“We’re celebrating what’s been accomplished, but we’re not finished,” said Sherry “With a few more donations, we can shift even more families from stuck… to unstoppable.”
