Some patients in Nebraska are paying it forward instead of going bankrupt over medical procedures.

Healing Hands M25 is a program started by Dr. Demetrio Aguila. The program allows people to volunteer for local non-profit organizations in exchange for monetary payments for surgeries.
Word of the program has spread. Dr. Aguila has helped people from 19 states and four foreign countries.
