Today, San Diego’s Elder Justice Task Force and its partner agencies arrested 19 alleged fraudsters who targeted over 500 American seniors in an elaborate international tech support and refund scam amounting to losses of more than $40 million. The FBI San Diego-led EJTF, along with @sandiegopd, @sdsheriff, @HSISanDiego , the U.S. Border Patrol Tactical Unit, @azusapd, @FBILosAngeles Riverside Resident Agency, @FBISacramento Fresno Resident Agency, @FBIPhoenix, and @FBILasVegas executed multiple federal warrants today with over a hundred law enforcement personnel protecting our senior communities.
