Our ministry partner Convoy of Hope is preparing to respond after the remnant of Hurricane Hilary hit southern California. It is bringing heavy rain and strong wind to much of the southwestern United States. Convoy has a newly-opened, strategically built Regional Distribution Center in California. The distribution center is already providing relief supplies for Convoy's Maui response as well as the fires in Washington State and is ready to send supplies quickly if needed for Hurricane Hilary, as well.
The Tropical Storm and Northwest fires come while Convoy is also actively deployed to Maui following devastating and deadly wildfires there. Convoy's Disaster Services team has been distributing essential relief supplies, including food, water, hygiene items, baby supplies, solar powered batteries, and more since last weekend.
