Elevation Worship echoes a resounding “Yes, and amen” on their new single, “So Be It.” The haunting declaration titles their latest live project and serves as a thesis statement for the recording in its entirety. Led by key members Tiffany Hudson and Chris Brown, “So Be It” affirms God is always trustworthy.

“‘So Be It’ declares the sovereignty and finality of God’s word,” Hudson shares. “If God spoke it, it’s as good as done. We can be confident that nothing could ever overturn or override the word of God.”

Hudson wrote the regal, theatrical track with Steven Furtick, Davide Mutendji and Mitch Wong. It opens Elevation Worship’s 10-song live effort, which released in February.

The album that bears its name has already launched a number of massive hits, including chart-topping collaboration “I Know A Name (feat. Brandon Lake),” jubilant anthem “Alleluia,” worshipful selection “Jesus Be The Name” and fan favorite “God I’m Just Grateful (feat. Chandler Moore).”

“‘SO BE IT’ feels so definitive, it feels like this isn’t just an album title; it feels like it’s something that is going to shape a season, an era, for us. It feels big enough to define the whole album,” Brown remarks. “There’s testimony songs, as always, and songs about God’s faithfulness; but I think all the songs have these bold declarations that point to encountering the power of Jesus’ name, our personal relationship with Him, and our personal gratitude.”
