Ellie Holcomb releases control on her new single, “Hope’s Gonna Find You.” Relinquishing her grip on the outcomes she can’t fully predict, the singer-songwriter chooses to place her faith in the One who holds it all. Co-written by Holcomb, producer Cason Cooley and NEEDTOBREATHE’s Bear Rinehart, the lyric-heavy offering reveals the Nashville native marveling at the hope that’s ever present. When hope feels elusive, Holcomb affirms God’s enduring strength is always within reach.

“When the world feels heavy, I’m reminded that hope isn’t something we hold alone. This song has reminded me again and again that no matter where we are or what we’re facing, hope always comes looking for us,” Holcomb offers. “I’m praying it brings peace and encouragement to anyone who needs a little reminder, too.”

“Hope’s Gonna Find You” beautifully interpolates familiar hymn “Leaning On The Everlasting Arms,” encouraging listeners to cast their cares on a God who is ready and willing to bear the weight of our expectations, anxieties and disappointments.

The airy pop selection serves as an anchor track on Holcomb’s fourth full-length LP, “Far Country.” The project was inspired by the tragic loss of both a young family member and a dear friend that resulted in a season of acute grief and spiritual depletion for the mother of three. Across 11 original songs, Holcomb details her questions and her doubts as she wrestles with what she knows to be true of God’s character against the backdrop of pain. “Hope’s Gonna Find You” is just one of the countless gems she mined in the midst of the experience.

Fans can hear “Hope’s Gonna Find You” and more cuts from “Far Country” on the “Never Gonna Let You Go Tour,” as Holcomb hits the road with her husband, Drew, beginning in February.
