Long before Jamie MacDonald stacked three consecutive No. 1 hits — “Desperate,” “Left It In The River” and “Ain’t No Way” — in 2024 she quietly dropped a little song called “A Million Chances,” her first official release as a full-blown signed Christian artist. Now, she’s sending the soulful, piano-led anthem to Christian radio.

Testifying to the way God has completely transformed her life, MacDonald gets to declare His power and goodness across the choir-assisted original, which she penned with Austin Davis and Jessie Early.
“The song, ‘A Million Chances,’ is all about the 360-miracle-turnaround that God did in my life’s story. From starting out as a young girl, in and out of group homes, a high school dropout, no idea what I was doing with my life… God truly can do anything with anyone,” she reflects, “and I just hope this song inspires you that it truly is never too late.”
The soaring selection was a part of MacDonald’s self-titled debut. The buzzworthy singer-songwriter is scheduled to release a 30-track deluxe edition of the acclaimed project Oct. 16. The expanded set boasts a handful of new recordings, as well as fresh versions of several fan favorites, including a reimagined rendering of “A Million Chances,” featuring pop sensation Tori Kelly.
