For the second year in a row, fans named “House of David” their TV/Streaming Impact winner at the 13th annual K-LOVE Fan Awards. Nominated for Group of the Year, new duo Caleb & John presented the category’s trophy during the star-studded ceremony. Michael Iskander, who plays David in the popular series, accepted the golden ‘K’ on behalf of the cast and crew.

The actor used his time at the podium to share what he personally learned while filming the second season of “House of David.” “This season was a hard season. David is a warrior, and he had to fight a lot. In the same way that we have so many battles that we fight on a daily basis, David suffered. I forgot that the same Holy Spirit that was upon him when he was anointed, is the same Holy Spirit that lives within us,” Iskander said. “I hope you realize the power that lives within you, and I hope you recognize the Holy Spirit, who is calling for you always and who loves you so much. I hope that as you watch ‘House of David’ that you’re reminded of Jesus, always. David points us to Jesus; everything is about Jesus.”

Across an eight-episode arc that encompasses the Prime Video series’ sophomore installment, Saul’s reign shows signs of decay. Meanwhile, David rises from the fields to the frontlines as an unlikely warrior in a string of strategic coming-of-age episodes that determine his loyalties and the future of an entire nation.

The official soundtrack that accompanies the second season features original music from chart-topping Christian artists, including Lauren Daigle, Elevation Worship, Kari Jobe, Cody Carnes, Brooke Ligertwood and CeCe Winans, among others.

Hosted by Daigle and Sadie Robertson Huff, the 2026 K-LOVE Fan Awards honored the year’s biggest faith-based artists, songs, films, television series, books, podcasts and more as fans voted for their favorites across 11 categories. With winners publicly revealed during an exclusive broadcast on May 29 via Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), the show is now available to watch on demand on TBN+ with an encore network presentation airing June 5.
