Newcomer Zahriya Zachary’s stunning K-LOVE debut, “Stay,” beautifully articulates what it means to abide in God’s presence. The intimate selection poignantly captures the art of remaining tethered to Jesus.
“Staying takes more courage than I ever thought it would. I used to believe staying was simply a decision — and in some ways, it is. But I’m learning that staying also means taking hold of God’s hand when I’m weak, when everything in me wants to leave. It takes a force of faith that can only come from Him to remain,” Zachary says as she reflects on the inspiration behind the song. “The more I learn to stay with Him, the more I learn how to stay with myself. And the more I can stay with myself, the more present I can be with others. Taking His outstretched hand has never led me astray.”
Following verses that describe her devotion to the Lord, the emerging songstress renews her commitment to Christ in the expansive, worshipful bridge singing, “I give You my seconds, my minutes, my hours, my all. Oh, with no holding back I am holding to all that You are.”

Prior to releasing “Stay” to radio, Zachary was featured on Patrick Mayberry’s notable No. 1 single, “Lead On Good Shepherd.”
Last fall, Zachary released her first full-length project, “Rediscovery.” The 13-track effort is a personal glimpse into the Texas native’s walk with God and the lessons she’s learned along the way.
Not only did she end 2025 on a high note with an album full of new music, the rising singer-songwriter also got engaged to fellow creative and videographer Cadence Helser. Feeling right at home, Zachary will be marrying into a musically gifted family as, incidentally, Cadence is the son of Jonathan David & Melissa Helser, the husband-and-wife duo behind modern worship touchstones like “No Longer Slaves” and “Raise A Hallelujah.”
