DENVER— As churches and ministry organizations nationwide work diligently to reach Gen Z and Gen Alpha with the Gospel, officials with Youth For Christ USA report encouraging results.

The Parker, Colorado-based organization, which recently released its 2025 Ministry Impact Report, says it has achieved growth for the fourth consecutive year. The ministry, which was launched in 1944 with Dr. Billy Graham as its first full-time employee, now has more than 110 chapters across America. It is part of Youth For Christ International, which has a presence in more than 100 countries.

“The harvest is still plentiful,” YFC USA President and CEO Jake Bland said in a news release. “We don’t just rely on research. If Jesus said the harvest is plentiful, that’s good enough for us. We can’t help but read this research study and hear the Holy Spirit’s nudging say ‘Stick with it and watch what I’m about to do.’”

Some of the key takeaways from the YFC 2025 Ministry Impact Report include:

  • 27% increase in kids who were plugged into a fellowship
  • 12% increase in kids who shared their name with a YFC leader
  • 30% increase in kids who began 3Story relationships with their peers
  • 30% increase in kids engaged in discipleship
  • 30% increase in kids who came to Christ
  • 8% increase in kids in conversation with a leader
  • 10% increase in lost kids in authentic Christ-sharing relationships

Also, YFC Trips and Camps saw 23% growth in event and trip attendance, and a 38% increase in young people who accepted Christ while on a YFC Trip or Camp from the prior year.

In 2025, YFC also launched Rebalance, a program designed to meet the unique needs of young people struggling with mental health issues and traumatic experiences on a variety of levels. The organization says 91% of participants reported that “they’ve learned how their actions may affect others,” while 89% “gained a trusted adult in their lives.”

YFC said it added 93 new ministry sites in 2025, bringing its total to 1,283 sites.

“After eight decades of cultural change, YFC’s mission remains unchanged,” Bland added. “We strive to reach young people everywhere. Through working with the local church and other like-minded partners, we are working to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus who lead by their godliness in lifestyle, devotion to the Word of God and prayer, passion for sharing the love of Christ and commitment to social involvement.”
