Jamie MacDonald is convinced there isn’t a situation under heaven where God won’t show up for her, and she shares why on her new single, “Ain’t No Way.” The soulful, upbeat pop gem looks back at MacDonald’s history with the Lord as the burgeoning songstress recalls all the moments He’s made the impossible possible in her life.

“I wrote this song because every time I’ve faced something impossible, God showed up. Every battle I’ve faced has only made me more confident in Him. There’s truly no way He’s gonna let me down,” MacDonald shares of the original she crafted alongside Austin Davis, Colby Wedgeworth and Jonathan Gamble. “This song is my heart speaking back to every impossible moment. He always makes a way, and He is faithful through it all.”

MacDonald’s third chart contender showcases her remarkable vocal range, her sharp lyrical sensibility and her natural convergence of sonic influences with a piano-forward R&B-pop melody studded with big Gospel choir accents. Perhaps the only thing more impressive than her vocals is the Nashville native’s story — a narrative riddled by abandonment, addiction and homelessness; but one that ultimately resolves in bittersweet redemption.

The shimmering, optimistic “Ain’t No Way” follows two consecutive No. 1s for MacDonald: her massive record-breaking debut, “Desperate,” and her contagious autobiographical follow-up, “Left It In The River.” Anchored by an infectious chorus, fans will be singing along to “Ain’t No Way” in no time, turning the odds in favor of sending another surefire hit up to the summit.

MacDonald’s first three singles all appear on her 16-track self-titled debut, which released in January. The rising singer-songwriter recently wrapped her first headlining tour in support of the project. She’s scheduled to support Phil Wickham and Tauren Wells on the road through May.
