Jamie MacDonald’s “Left It In The River” is a praise party from the first foot-tapping downbeat.
MacDonald’s second radio offering stands in stark contrast to her hit debut, “Desperate,” which earned the Michigan native nominations for both Song of the Year and Breakout Single of the Year at the 2025 K-LOVE Fan Awards. Aptly titled, the introductory single highlighted MacDonald’s raw, emotional vocals while referencing some of the lowest moments of her story.
Conversely, “Left It In The River” celebrates the joy found on the other side of desperation and a life-changing encounter with Jesus, solidifying MacDonald as an artist with considerable range – both in voice and experience. Colby Wedgeworth and “Desperate” collaborator Jonathan Gamble were enlisted to cowrite the track inspired by MacDonald's baptism.
Before hitting the airwaves as a K-LOVE First, “Left It In The River” graced the K-LOVE Studios during a lively exclusive performance from MacDonald, which you can watch now!
