“RATTLE!” Elevation Worship

Nominated for Group/Duo of the Year and Worship Song of the Year, Elevation Worship “rattled” the 2022 K-LOVE Fan Awards stage with a live version of their hit song. Elevation Worship singer and songwriter Chris Brown took the lead on the anthem millions of churches around the globe have claimed as their own over the course of the past year. The group will take “RATTLE!” on the road this summer alongside Kari Jobe and Cody Carnes.

“Always” Chris Tomlin

Chris Tomlin used his performance slot at the 2022 K-LOVE Fan Awards to preview new music. The renowned worship leader will release his next full-length album, Always, on Sept. 9, and he performed the title-cut on the Grand Ole Opry House stage exclusively for fans. The song, elevated by a Gospel choir at the Fan Awards, is signature Tomlin and marks a return to the traditional worship faire he’s known for. “Always” follows an unexpected detour that led to a series of country collaborations with the likes of Lady A, Thomas Rhett and Florida Georgia Line, among others — much to the surprise and delight of fans.

“Promised Land” TobyMac

Beneath a sea of glittering starlight, courtesy of a giant mirror ball, TobyMac — dressed in a coordinating fedora and sweater — presented “Promised Land” at the 2022 K-LOVE Fan Awards with an assist from his band, Diverse City. The dark, but deeply hopeful track is set to appear on his upcoming full-length album, Life After Death, expected to drop Aug. 19, 2022. This year, the three-time K-LOVE Fan Award winner was also a contender for Artist of the Year, Male Artist of the Year and Song of the Year.

“Me On Your Mind” Matthew West

Delivering one of the most memorable performances of the evening, seven-time K-LOVE Fan Awards host Matthew West gave his new single, “Me On Your Mind,” an indelible live treatment. His simple intro on the piano at the front of the stage indicated West’s performance would be stripped-down, but once the screen ascended, revealing a full horn section, it was evident West was poised to take the worshipful track in a soulful direction. In addition to hosting and performance duties, West walked away a winner when he nabbed the award for Male Artist of the Year at the 2022 K-LOVE Fan Awards.

“House of the Lord” Phil Wickham

Phil Wickham’s “House of the Lord” is one of the biggest songs to emerge from the past year, as evidenced by his nomination for Worship Song of the Year at the 2022 K-LOVE Fan Awards. No stranger to the Fan Awards stage, Wickham delivered a vibrant, highly energetic performance of his chart-topping hit. A tight band and a choir joined the well-known worship leader and songwriter for the joyful live iteration of the single, which can be found on Wickham’s latest release, Hymn of Heaven.

“Relate” for KING & COUNTRY

Descending from the ceiling in a pair of neon-lit elevators, for KING & COUNTRY brought their signature tour production to the 2022 K-LOVE Fan Awards stage with a timely rendition of their No. 1 hit, “Relate.” Portions of the song’s creative music video played behind them as the duo dedicated their performance to those hurting in Uvalde, Texas, and Ukraine. By the end of the evening, brothers Joel and Luke Smallbone had taken home three more trophies, upping their career K-LOVE Fan Awards count to 16 — more than any other artist in Fan Awards history.
