Barrett, whose debut country album features a worship original with Shane & Shane, was already familiar with Dixon’s latest single when he asked her to be a guest on the song. “I respect Colton’s creativity as an artist and was already a big fan of ‘Build A Boat’ before he reached out to collaborate,” Barrett affirms. “These lyrics really hit me, and it’s such a blessing to be a part of this new version and to be able to honor our Lord in this way.”

With her babies in tow and her husband playing guitar for her on stage, the ACM Award winner will perform her current single, “Pick Me Up,” on tour this summer supporting country superstar Kane Brown.

As for Dixon, the pop singer and songwriter will take “Build A Boat” across the U.S. for a 35-city odyssey this spring. His headlining journey is set to feature troubadour Jordan St. Cyr and electronic-pop duo Apollo LTD.
