What do you say to someone who doesn’t feel like they’re good enough? That’s the question for KING + COUNTRY attempts to answer with their new song, "What If I Told You?"
Exploring universal themes of self-worth and identity, brothers Joel and Luke Smallbone extend empathy to anyone who’s ever let the opinions of others define them.

“I’m sorry they told you words you didn’t expect. You play it over in your head. You feel it in your chest,” Luke sings over a bouncy piano line on the first verse. “They told you you’re not good enough. Wish it would stop, it never does. Well, that makes two of us.”
The chorus then explodes into a vibrant shower of harmony-laced pop infused with synth and wisdom about life and faith. The duo tells the truth about God and the safe haven we find in His presence, but it’s ultimately up to listeners to believe these declarations are true.
Inviting aspiring artists to try their hand at crafting a new verse, for KING + COUNTRY is currently hosting an open-verse challenge across their social platforms. Meanwhile, “What If I Told You?,” which premiered as a K-LOVE First, arrives at radio on the heels of “World On Fire.” Both singles are slated to appear on for KING + COUNTRY’s fifth studio effort, “The Most Beautiful Colours,” bowing Sept. 18, 2026.

The 19-time K-LOVE Fan Award winners will launch a North American tour Sept. 24 in support of the album, visiting several well-known venues, including Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, and the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, California. They’ll conclude the year by reprising their annual “Drummer Boy Christmas” tour with 21 dates throughout November and December.
In addition to brand-new music, the siblings have been hard at work on multiple movie projects. Their next feature film, “Drummer Boy,” which was shot on location in Ireland, will release in time for the holiday season. Meanwhile, Joel was recently a part of the cast for “Young Washington,” and he and his wife, Moriah, are slated to star in “A Music City Story,” scheduled for release in 2027.
