New Song Feature God Did It by Micah Tyler

Micah Tyler offers the Way Maker a massive shout-out on “God Did It.” Recognizing his ongoing need for a Savior, the singer-songwriter gives thanks to the only One who is able to sustain, rescue and heal. Tyler turns it all the way up to 11 with an unbridled exuberance and an authentic delivery that’s evident from the first note, blaming the blessings in his life on amazing grace.

The Texas native penned “God Did It” with an assist from Jeff Pardo and Jake Henry. The fist-pumping declaration bursts with free-flowing joy and gratitude, acknowledging that we’re not capable of saving ourselves anymore than we’re able to part a raging sea. Additionally, the track smoothly references timeless hymn “To God Be The Glory.”

“No matter what you are walking through today, we are reminded that He put the breath in our lungs, He calls us His children, He raised us from the grave, and He alone deserves all the glory, the honor and the praise,” Tyler says of the message behind his new song.

Tyler shared “God Did It” in 30-plus arenas throughout the first quarter of the year as part of the lineup for the 2025 edition of Winter Jam, which also boasted performances from Skillet, KB, Anne Wilson, SEU Worship and more. The obvious bop follows his passionate single, “People Like Us (feat. Emerson Day),” and hints at more new music to come from the former youth pastor.

While the song’s official music video captures Tyler getting fired up in a small rural church with the help of a backing band and a choir, the “I See Grace” singer originally pictured scores of people belting the lyrics at the top of their lungs.

“When we made the music video for ‘God Did It,’ I got so excited dreaming about what it would feel like to sing it live with a real crowd of people,” Tyler affirms. “Hundreds of thousands of people later, y’all [made] that dream come true every night on Winter Jam, and it’s better than I had imagined.”

After wrapping the three-month, multi-artist trek at the end of March, Tyler recently took over the mic as a guest DJ on K-LOVE, serving up his natural wit, pastoral nuggets of truth and a few stories behind some of his biggest hits.
