Brandon Lake garnered his fourth consecutive win for Male Artist of the Year at the 13th annual K-LOVE Fan Awards. Co-hosts Lauren Daigle and Sadie Robertson Huff presented the trophy to the South Carolina native, who bragged on his fellow nominees once he took the mic.
“Y’all, I really don’t know what to say other than ‘thank you,’ and what an insane category. So many amazing men of God that I look up to every single day. I’m watching what you do and the songs you put out, and more importantly, the way you love your wives — for those of you who have a bride. You inspire me to want to be a better father and husband, and that’s really what it’s all about at the end of the day,” the dad of three boys remarked from stage. “I’m just looking around and seeing these names, and I’m like, gosh, these are such good men; and I think we’re just so fortunate to have the real deal in this category…So many of you younger artists are inspiring me to dig deeper and to remember that there really aren’t any rules and to just follow the Lord, follow the Spirit.”
This year, Lake was nominated in the Male Artist of the Year bracket alongside “good men” like Ben Fuller, Chris Tomlin, Jeremy Camp, Jon Reddick, Josiah Queen, Matthew West, Phil Wickham, Seph Schlueter and Tauren Wells.
During his acceptance speech he also gave a shout-out to his wife, Brittany, saying, “I’ve never been more in love with you than I am right now. Thank you for supporting me, loving me and being my guide and being my hiding place…I come home, and you really know the real me.”
The “Gratitude” singer also shared that nearly 100,000 people had made decisions to follow Jesus at his recently wrapped, 50-show “King Of Hearts” arena tour. He then encouraged his peers to be intentional about vulnerably sharing the gospel at their concerts, testifying to the way he’s been convicted to do the same after seeing the life-changing impact it’s carried in cities nationwide.
The 2026 K-LOVE Fan Awards honored the year’s biggest faith-based artists, songs, films, television series, books, podcasts and more as fans voted for their favorites across 11 categories. With winners publicly revealed during an exclusive broadcast on May 29 via Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), the show is now available to watch on demand on TBN+ with an encore network presentation airing June 5.
