“My Jesus” Anne Wilson

Anne Wilson was named Female Artist of the Year at the 2022 K-LOVE Fan Awards, and her massive performance of “My Jesus” proved why. In a gorgeous red dress and cowboy boots, the Kentucky native began her time in the spotlight with a stripped-down chorus of her mega-hit before the screen rose to reveal more than a dozen musicians on stage. While the newcomer generally only tours with a trio of players in her band, she super-sized “My Jesus” for her K-LOVE Fan Awards debut. Moreover, she took home a second award for Breakout Single of the Year.

“The Commission” CAIN

After winning Breakout Single of the Year in 2021 for “Rise Up (Lazarus),” sibling trio CAIN returned to the K-LOVE Fan Awards stage this year for a standout performance of “The Commission.” A pregnant Taylor Cain Matz took lead on vocals, while her sister Madison (also pregnant) and brother Logan (a brand new dad), chimed in with unmatched harmonies. CAIN made the sparse, intimate ballad feel huge on the Fan Awards stage, thanks to their tightly knit vocals and choir-assisted performance. To date, CAIN’s previous singles have all featured Logan on lead, but their live version of “The Commission” really gave the ladies in the group a chance to shine.

“The Healing” Blanca feat. Dante Bowe

Female Artist of the Year nominee Blanca showed off her impressive vocal prowess on the 2022 K-LOVE Fan Awards stage. While Dante Bowe joined her for their current duet, he made space for Blanca to step up to the mic with her incredible runs and soulful delivery. The Latin singer wrote the transparent track in the aftermath of a painful divorce, making her performance that much more raw, vulnerable and relatable.

“For The Good” Riley Clemmons

Based on her radio hits, it’s easy to see that Riley Clemmons is a solid songwriter. But watch her on stage, and it’s evident she’s also a born entertainer. With as much energy as a veteran act, Clemmons confidently commanded the stage for her live rendition of “For The Good.” Country newcomer Walker Hayes (“Fancy Like”) joined the singer/songwriter on the second verse, but it was Clemmons who stole the show with her contagious smile and sparkling stage presence.

“Believe For It” CeCe Winans and Lauren Daigle

Pair a Gospel legend with the reigning queen of Christian music, and you have a recipe for a hit. CeCe Winans and Lauren Daigle delivered just that when they sang “Believe For It” live together for the very first time ever on the 2022 K-LOVE Fan Awards stage. Astoundingly, the night also marked Winans’ first ever K-LOVE Fan Awards Female Artist of the Year nod and performance. Meanwhile, Daigle is an eight-time K-LOVE Fan Award winner.

“In Jesus Name (God of Possible)” Katy Nichole

Rising star Katy Nichole accepted the first award of her career when fans voted “In Jesus Name (God of Possible)” the 2022 Worship Song of the Year. She also performed the runaway hit. Clad in a white suit and braids, the newcomer gave a passionate performance of her signature single against a black and white backdrop and a lone grand piano. “In Jesus Name (God of Possible)” serves as the title track for Nichole’s debut EP. A month after her 2022 K-LOVE Fan Awards performance, Nichole returned to the same historic Nashville stage for her Opry debut.

“Kingdom” and “Jireh” Maverick City Music feat. Naomi Raine

While an interchangeable parade of faces intentionally make up Maverick City Music, Naomi Raine has been an integral part of the group from the beginning. This year, she graced the K-LOVE Fan Awards stage for the first time to help debut Maverick City Music’s brand new song, “Kingdom,” but it was when she casually eased into the chorus of “Jireh” at the end that fans were able to recognize her for what she is: a standout vocalist. Raine’s new solo album, Journey, arrives July 8, 2022.
